Arya’s my favouite too, and am not worried about her being faceless, she killed that singer from the wall and when aske who did it delivered what came to be one of my favourite line “Arya of house Stark” no matter who she is Arry, Weasel, the blind girl, the ghost of harrenhall, she will alwyas be Arya of house stark. The last warrior from the north.

I hope Jon Snow is dead not that i didn’t like and mourn him but people should stay dead it makes things much more final and real. Can’t believe you disliked Dany that much though i get what you said about Jaime definetely one of my favourite characters. i also find myself forgiving theon as time goes by. the whole reek thing was very sympathy inducing.

I don’t think Bran is one of the others or een thei helper didn’t the children of the forest fight them off at some point?

I could live with Arya as a Varys type. But yeah, that’s my hope … that she takes from the Faceless but doesn’t become one.

Good thought on Jon’s parentage. I just got myself caught up with the whole parenting-theories deal. Though if he’s reborn Lord-o-Light style he’s not going to be all there. I read somewhere else the other clear possibility which is that he wakes up inside his direwolf — all those warg dynamics were established explicitly earlier in the book.

If he does have Stark & Targaryen blood then he’s the one guy who can warg up a dragon; that would be awesome.

I remember your proclamation about Arya, and your concerns of where her pursuit of revenge will take her. I feel confident however that she will take what she wants to learn from them and still escape with something of herself. She will never have a traditional place in the world post whatever, never a mother or lady of the holdfast, but she will wield power and be privy to secrets, a Varys type I suspect.

As for Jon, he isn’t dead, he will be reborn from fire, and become something new. I don’t believe for a minute that he is fisherwoman’s son, he is part dragon.

Sansa is getting a internship in manipulation, if she makes it she will be the new Queen of thorns. As to Bran, what I am most curious about is Jojen, and what is happening there, his despair can’t lead to good things. I am very worried for Jamie, his meeting Brienne can’t be a good thing.

True, I suppose, but personally, I liked the idea of having an Olympic games within driving distance. Also, the mayor mentioned that he hoped to get the kayaking events to take place in Grand Rapids.

Though unlikely, that would have been very cool.

I was planning on using the word “twee” a lot more liberally in this post but when I actually looked it up it connoted a little more “cutesey” and a little less “artsy-fartsy” than what I had in my head.
