Dude, for way cheaper you can grab some DDR pads to plug into your laptop and download Step Mania for *free*! You and your whole kids be dancing to the syncopated rhythms of No One Knows My Plan before you know it.
Though we did just get to try RB last weekend. If you hold the microphone on Don’t Fear the Reaper, you actually get to play the cowbell.

Apparently all it took for me to buy Rock Band was spare cash. I bought it this summer.
All it took for one of my daughters to break one of the pads off the drum set, however, was an attempt to use it as a balance beam. With luck, the superglue will hold and I won’t be tempted to buy a replacement…
