Thanks to this, you will never need an idea for your next roleplaying game again.
Hat tip to Bryant Durrell.
My favorites so far:
The PCs are supermodel teenagers in our very town who, with computers, fight the Evil Empire for reasons of their own in the distant past.
The PCs are occult elves in a dream who, with breakdancing, fight Nazis for gold in World War II.

Nate: Here’s my RPG: The PCs are psychic vampires in an epic poem who, with superpowers, fight mutants for gold in prehistoric times. Um, whats a PC?

The PCs are heroic dinosaurs in an epic poem who, with their bare hands, fight zombies for career advancement in the Middle Ages.

The PCs are evil programmers in a space station who, with captured animals, fight mutants for sex in the present day.
The PCs are apprentice baseball players in a harsh and unforgiving environment who, with their minds, fight a shadowy enemy for money in the turn of the century.
That last one pretty much describes real baseball.

Heather: Ah, your geek credibility is shattered. PC = Player Character, which is to say, one’s role in a roleplaying game.

Nate: Sorry to shatter your illusions…I have a friend who does RPGs, but she never talks PC unless its about her computer…
I’m starting to watch Buffy tho; can that begin to restore my geekiness?

Okay, here’s one:
The PC are quixotic ex-gamers who have grown up, gotten married, and reproduced, and who, with an almost superhuman sense of laziness, never seem to be able to put together any kind of lasting RPG campaign in their current lives.
WAIT, that’s not an RPG…
